TERMS & CONDITIONS
Effective 1 July 2025 – governed by the laws of New Zealand
1. Definitions
Event Site – the land and venues on which the Event is held.
Promoter / we / us –Pizzazz Media Limited trading as Afterglow Festival
Authorised Ticketing Agency – Flicket Ltd and any third-party seller expressly approved in writing
by the Promoter.
Event T&Cs – these Terms & Conditions plus any other rules issued by the Promoter.
Wristband – the valid ticket with RFID or bar-code exchanged for a wristband on entry.
2. Acceptance
By purchasing, holding, or using a ticket you:
1. confirm you are 18 years or older and will carry valid photo ID; and
2. agree that the Event T&Cs are legally binding on you and anyone you invite or transfer the
ticket to.
3. Public-Health & Force-Majeure
1. Health Orders – The Event will comply with any New Zealand Government public-health
order or local authority direction in effect at the Event dates (including those relating to
Covid-19, influenza, or any emerging communicable illness).
2. Impossibility – If the Event (or any performance) is cancelled or materially curtailed because
compliance with a public-health order, natural disaster, terrorism event or other circumstance
outside the Promoter’s reasonable control has become impossible or impracticable, the
Promoter’s liability is limited to refund of the ticket price paid, less non-refundable booking
and card-processing fees. No other costs (travel, accommodation, etc.) will be reimbursed.

7.B Artist Cancellation, Substitution & Ticket-holder Remedies
The Promoter will publish a“Headline Act/s” at the time tickets go on sale (or as soon as headline artists are announced). If any published Headline Act permanently withdraws and, in the Promoter’s reasonable opinion, cannot be replaced with an artist of reasonably comparable stature, ticketholders may:
a. Request a full refund of the ticket price (excluding non-refundable booking and card fees) within 14 days of the cancellation announcement; or
b. Retain the ticket and attend the Event with the revised line-up.
2. Non-headline Acts
Changes to artists not listed as Headline Acts, set-time alterations, or shortened sets do not entitle the ticketholder to a refund or other compensation, except as required by the Consumer Guarantees Act 1993.
3. Same-day or On-site Withdrawals
If a Headline Act withdraws on the Event day and a replacement of comparable stature cannot be arranged, the Promoter may offer a pro-rata partial refund (e.g., a percentage % of the face value) or a credit toward a future event, to be claimed within 30 days after the Event.
4. Refund Process
Refunds under this clause will aim to be processed within 15 working days to the original payment method, unless otherwise agreed.
5. No Secondary Compensation
The Promoter is not liable for consequential costs (travel, accommodation, etc.) arising from artist changes or cancellations, except to the extent required by law.

Schedule 1 – Prohibited Items (non-exhaustive)
Alcohol, glass, weapons, fireworks, explosives, flares, illicit substances, nitrous canisters, large
recording devices, professional camera gear, drones, laser pointers, umbrellas, couches/chairs,
wheeled recreational devices (skateboards, scooters, bikes, hoverboards), unauthorised promotional
material, any item deemed dangerous, offensive or disruptive by Event staff.
SCHEDULE 2 – PRIVACY POLICY (Updated 2025)
1. Scope
This policy explains how Pizzazz Media Limited (“we”, “us”) and our ticketing provider
Flicket Ltd collect, use, disclose and protect your personal information in accordance with
the Privacy Act 2020 and other applicable New Zealand privacy laws (together, “Privacy
Laws”).
2. Personal Information We Collect
o Details you give us when buying or transferring tickets (name, contact, date of birth,
payment method).
o Information you voluntarily submit via our website, email or social media channels.
o Technical data (IP address, browser type, cookies) collected automatically when you
visit our websites.
3. Why We Collect It
o To administer ticket purchases and verify your identity.
o To communicate Event updates, cancellations or safety messages.
o Where you opt-in, to send marketing about future events and partner offers.
o For internal reporting, fraud detection, and to improve our services.
4. Lawful Grounds
We process personal information only where permitted by Privacy Laws, including with your
consent, to perform a contract (ticket purchase), or where we have a legitimate interest that is
not overridden by your rights.
5. Disclosure
We may share your information with:
o Flicket Ltd (ticketing); authorised payment processors (e.g. Stripe).
o Service providers (IT, marketing, emergency response) bound by confidentiality.
o The venue owner, security or emergency services as reasonably required for safety.
o Overseas recipients only where equivalent privacy safeguards apply or you consent.
We will otherwise disclose information only if required by law.
6. Storage & Security
Personal data is stored on secure servers located in New Zealand or jurisdictions approved
under Privacy Laws. We implement reasonable safeguards against unauthorised access,
alteration, disclosure or destruction.
7. Retention
Information is retained only as long as necessary for the purposes above or as required by
law, after which it is securely deleted or anonymised.
8. Your Rights
You may request access or correction of the personal information we hold about you at any
time. Contact: info@pizzazz.co.nz. We will respond within 20 working days as required by
the Privacy Act 2020.
9. Cookies
Our websites use cookies for essential functionality and analytics. You can disable cookies in
your browser, but some site features may not work.
10. Marketing Opt-Out
You may withdraw consent to electronic marketing at any time by clicking “unsubscribe” in
an email or contacting us.
11. Changes
We may update this policy periodically. The latest version is always available on our website
and is effective from the date of posting.
